Ron Lindstrom

Ron previously served on the SSIFPD Board from 2018–2020 and was a strong supporter and advocate for the new fire hall. He is very pleased to now see the project under construction. He is keen to once again engage as a Trustee and will strive to build on the progress already underway. Ron is committed to fulfilling the expectations of the role, including community
representation, stewardship of resources, policy development, and bylaw enactment.

With several decades of senior executive experience in B.C. health care organizations—and in his current work as a health systems consultant—Ron brings transferable skills grounded in both applied scholarship and practical experience. His areas of expertise include management, collaborative relationships, strategic planning, policy development, and evaluation. He holds a Master’s degree in Health Services Planning and Administration, as well as a practice-oriented PhD focused on community-based participatory planning for health services delivery.
