Rob Oliver

Rob Oliver has served on the Salt Spring Island Fire Improvement District Board of Trustees since 2021, working together with his fellow trustees to support and implement the plan to build a new firehall. He is proud of what the current team has accomplished during his time on the board.

Rob and his wife Barb have lived full time on Salt Spring since 1995. His west coast roots are deep, having served as a professional mariner since 1973 and as a British Columbia Coast Pilot for the last 23 years. Rob looks forward to continuing his work with the other fire trustees to ensure the new firehall project stays on schedule and on budget.
